About us

Agora X (Agora For) was started by a simple post in Agora, the Official Mumford & Sons Community (on Facebook), in May 2020. The team that was created from that post is a group of
7 professional women from around the globe who all work full time, support our families and all had a desire and need to give back somehow during a global pandemic.

This desire bonded us. And so it began with the goal to support Omeara, a London grassroots venue owned by Ben Lovett and tvg hospitality, that like many businesses, was hit hard during lockdown. Our fundraising secured an epic party and venue takeover for our fellow Agorians.

During this journey, working together virtually and in person,
we have become close friends and colleagues. We have developed a passion to turn our efforts into something more global and support our Agora community. We have created bonds with each other, signed a Code of Conduct and developed professional relationships within the Mumford & Sons, War Child and Children in Conflict circles.

We are ready for the next chapter..
